This class will be held in-person in the BGO event hall. Space is limited and registration is required.
Stop, wait, don’t kill that bug! Did you know that 99% of the insect species in your garden are benign or actually beneficial? Yet many gardeners kill any insect found on their vegetables, not realizing they are actually exacerbating their pest problem by getting rid of beneficial predators.
Learn some of the more common insects you might find in your garden and start identifying them in each stage of their life cycle. Participants will also take an evening walk through the Garden following the class.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers (Not a member? Join or renew today!)
