Little Sprouts

NEW – Little Sprouts Costume Parade

Join us on Tuesday, October 27 (rain date Friday, Oct. 30) from 9:00 am -12:00 pm for a fun drop-in event at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks!  If you’re looking for a safe way to still get into the Halloween spirit this year with your family, this is a great option!  Wear your costumes, play and explore in the garden and we will hand out goodie bags with treats and coupons as you leave.

For the health and safety of all our guests, masks are required upon entry to the garden for everyone aged 10 and up as according to the State of Arkansas mandate.

This event is free for garden members with a Family membership.  For non-members, there is no admission charge for children 4 and under.  Admission for children 5 and older is $4, and $7 for adults accompanying the children.  You can join or renew your membership online at Become a Member.

Until we can meet again in the garden, our Little Sprouts program is going virtual!  We’ve created a Facebook group where you can join us with your little ones Wednesdays at 10 am for new videos and activities every week, beginning May 6th. Log on anytime to our Facebook Group to get caught up or our BGO YouTube! (Links to each video at the bottom of this page)

Little Sprouts is a weekly botaLittle Sprouts preschool children's program at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarksnically-themed program for preschoolers.  Each week we read stories, sing songs, and do fun crafts and activities.  Whether we are learning about how bees are more helpful than harmful, or exploring the garden with handmade binoculars, the children leave the garden with a real appreciation for the world around them and a new desire to protect it.

Our participants range in age from newborn all the way up to our five-year-olds who haven’t yet started Kindergarten. Not only does our program serve the little ones in attendance, but also the adults who bring them. Each week we try to offer a program to our families that will leave them with the inspiration to take what they have learned and apply it in their homes.

This program is completely free for garden members with a Family membership.  For non-members, there is no admission charge for children 4 and under.  Admission for children 5 and older is $4, and $7 for adults accompanying the children.  You can join online at Become a Member.
