March 22 – 25 (participate as you like!)
Pick up kits: Sunday, March 21 or Monday, March 22
Get outside, learn virtually, and do it all on your own schedule with BGO during spring break! Virtually engage with a fun and interactive week of videos, activities and projects, designed to get your whole family outside! The virtual aspects will take place on a private Padlet page and stick to enthusiastic instruction and will not keep your child online for long.
Each day we will encourage your children to do the activities and projects laid out in the instruction, getting your kids outside working with their hands and experiencing nature during springtime! Each day will have a nature theme, a craft or activity, as well as a call to action that will keep your children busy. Then students will be encouraged to share and interact on a safe, private platform with others in this small class.
This spring break session is best experienced if students have a good yard, park, or some public wilderness or greenspace to explore during the week. Coming to the garden is also encouraged during this time.
Most of the materials needed for this week of activities and projects is included and others are either found outside or are common household items! Families should pick up their kits the weekend before virtual camp begins. The lessons and activities will be geared towards students in 1st – 4th grade, but siblings and parents are welcome to join in on the fun!
COST: $35 members / $50 nonmembers (Not a member? Join or renew today!) *Price includes a kit you will need to pick up at BGO with craft, nature, garden materials and some admission passes to the garden for nonmembers.
*Please be aware, we do not offer refunds for our classes and workshops. Exchanges may be considered on a case by case basis if they are made at least one week in advance.
